Last Tuesday against Washington Eloy Jimenez finally hit his first dinger at home. Pretty deep stunner, too, and he did the Sammy Sosa hop.

He's keeping it going too. Hit two more stunners against the Yankees on Friday. Took the the big bastard long enough. All 12 long balls before Tuesday came on the road. All them pundits wondered if something was wrong with the rookie, but not Stone Cold Steve Stone. Matter of fact, old Stone Cold liked that Eloy had been bringing his best shit on the road instead of home. WHAT?

 It shows the kid has character. Any Rocky Coppinger can put on a show in their hometown, but it takes a real man wear his game face at any damn stadium in the country. That's how Stone Cold Steve Stone was. I never gave a rat's ass whether anyone liked me. Didn't make no difference if they were in Comiskey, Candlestick, or the goddamn Alamo, I was gonna do what I wanted, where I wanted, when I wanted. And what I wanted to do was kick some ass and drink some beer, and that's all I've got to say about that.

Eloy Jimenez is gonna hit with the best of them of them sooner than you think. If he's half the man Stone Cold Steve Stone was, he's gonna walk right into any road ballpark and raise as much hell as he wants just because he can. If you thought he waited so long to bring the stunner to the South Side beacause he had them butterflies then you're too busy kissing ass to kick some ass. Eloy is a man on a mission and he's bringing the message wherever he goes, son. And that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold Steve Stone said so.
